Geek Chic Monday - Galaxxxy

I've mentioned Galaxxxy here before in my Anime Expo 2012 report. I've been wanting to highlight their goods in a Geek Chic Monday post ever since. Timing is everything because they just announced they will be launching a U.S. web-shop! To celebrate, you can shop the goods before the online store launches in person at JapanLA in West Hollywood beginning a week from today!

If you haven't heard of Galaxxxy before, they are a Tokyo based label that mixes bright colors and quirky prints to produce some amazing apparel and accessories. They often collaborate with anime series. Below is just a small sampling of some of the anime collab. goods they've produced.

Galaxxxy x Creamy Mami

Galaxxxy x Panty and Stocking

The Panty and Stocking x Galaxxxy collab also extended into figures! How cute are these? TAKE MY MONEY!

Galaxxxy x TRIGGER. TRIGGER is the studio responsible for Gurren Lagann and Panty and Stocking both of which Galaxxxy has collaborated with in the past, so it's only fitting that they would work directly with the studio on an original collab. I love the tank top!

Not all their items have to include licensed characters to be geek chic, I am in love with this computer tee and sweater!

Do you have a favorite anime series or video game you'd like to see Galaxxxy collaborate with? Share in the comments! I would love to see Ranma 1/2 on dresses and skirts!

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I would love Madoka's magical girl skirt in a sweater dress look. :D

I believe they are still available in the Japanese webshop. You can use a proxy service like Japonica Market to purchase the goods for you. :)
